Yep, I've begun to do it finally. I did some practice stuff for my ACT - not looking forward to it - I don't think I will do so well and it scares me haha, But have no fear Jesus is near so... pray for me guys =D
On top of that I have a pile of books here that I wish to read through before I go to college ( if I can in time...)
For me this is my Mt. Everest at the moment =p .
So let me go through them one at a time:
Exhibit A) is as reads SHAM How the Self-Help Movement Made America Helpless (2005) by Steve Salerno
I've read 8 of about 12 Chapter (if you include the conclusion) and it has been pretty revealing and there is some useful facts in there to know about.
Exhibit B)
What Every Pastor Needs to Know about
Music, Youth and Education (1986)
Pretty good so far... I've read all the chapters on music by Garth Bolinder and have Youth by Tom McKee and Education by John R. Cionca yet to read.
Exhibit C) The much more famous Common Sense, Rights of Man, etc (2003 - reprint) by the much quoted Thomas Paine
Exhibit D) below - an in depth read of the concept of Free will The Freedom of the Will by J.R. Lucas (1970) , some of it I would say is probably beyond me, but yet a fascinating read
Exhibit E) below another deep read - The Ethics of Aristotle (1897) 2nd Ed (?) - still need to start reading this one (really nice book from what I can tell)
Exhibit F) The Scottish Educational System (1971) by S. Leslie Hunter
Have only read one chapter on this book, but I have found to cover a lot of ground - illustrates the difference on the Scottish Education System compared to England and the rest of the UK
Exhibit G) Spelling An Element in Written Expression (1981) by Robert L. Hillerich
those who know me fairly well, a subject this book goes over that I especially could use to improve my inadequate spelling talents =)P
Exhibit H) [I sure am going through the alphabet here] Phonics, Linguistics, and Reading (1972) by Dolores Durkin
